today we get to hear from lauren in our life in technicolor series.
and she has the most entertaining and lovely blog called busy bee lauren.
i have been able to get to know her pretty well within the last few months and have really grown to love her courage, love for her husband, humor, wit, and creative talent.
My name .................................. Lauren Elise
childhood ambition ........... to be like my mom. now it's my adulthood ambition.
fondest memory ............... after ted's two years on his mission were up, and i went to the airport to see him when he arrived home. seeing him walk off of the plane and back into my life was the happiest i have ever felt.
indulgence ................... vintage shopping by myself with no time restraints. stopping for frozen yogurt on the way home. then sitting in my jammies eating the frozen yogurt as i watch the 1967 version of "Bedazzled".
soundtrack ................... "Let It Be" album by The Beatles.
wildest dream ................ to move to seattle, open a vintage clothing store, and eat cupcakes all day.
retreat ...................... my home office. i love my little creative space. i have a chair and chandelier with lots of pillows if i feel like reading or just looking out the window and day dreaming. i have my computer where i can blog and be inspired by other's blogs. and i have my space for crafting and creating.
proudest moment .............. winning the interior design competition at my school. that's when i realized i had a talent.
biggest challenge ............ self confidence. it's a lifelong process...but i'm working on it.
first job .................... receptionist at a tennis center. i have never even picked up a racquet.
last purchase ............... 8 canvases so that i can paint this weekend.
inspiration ................. my friends and family. i want to make them proud, so i try my best at everything i do.
My writing ............................. is how i express myself.
My life ................................ is beautiful.
